Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 21, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Fast Kick Martial Arts ("we," "us," "our"), located at 356 Franklin Ave, Belleville, NJ 07109, collects, uses, and shares information through our website, our contact and class-inquiry forms, our mailing list, and our advertising (including ads on Facebook and Instagram).
1. Information We Collect
From adults inquiring about or enrolled in adult classes (via our website contact form, mailing list signup, or a Facebook/Instagram lead form):
- Full name
- Phone number
- Email address (if provided)
- Preferred class day/time
- Mailing/physical address (if you enroll and provide it, for billing or membership records)
- Payment information (if you pay for classes online, this is processed by Square — we do not store your full card number ourselves)
From parents or guardians registering a child for our youth/teen programs:
- Parent/guardian name, phone number, email address, and mailing address
- Child's name and age
- Any additional information a parent chooses to provide (for example, emergency contact information or health/allergy notes relevant to participation)
Photos and video: We may take photos or video during classes for internal training and safety review, and, only with your (or, for a minor, your parent/guardian's) consent, for marketing purposes such as our website or social media.
We collect this information directly from the person submitting it. We do not purchase or acquire personal information about you from third-party data brokers.
2. Children's Privacy
Our youth programs are open to children under 13, so we follow the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
- We collect a child's information only from a parent or guardian, only to register that child for a class, communicate about their enrollment, and support program safety.
- Our website uses tracking technologies, including the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) pixel, across all pages of our site, including pages related to our youth programs. This means Meta may receive general browsing and interaction data from anyone visiting any page on our website, which could include a parent or guardian visiting a youth-program page. We do not manually submit a child's registration information (name, age) to Meta or any advertising platform.
- When a parent or guardian registers a child through our website's registration form, they are asked to review and consent to this — including our website's use of the Meta pixel on that page — before submitting the form.
- We retain a child's information for up to 2 years after their enrollment ends, after which it is deleted, unless a longer period is required for safety or legal record-keeping.
- A parent or guardian may review, correct, or request deletion of their child's information at any time by contacting us using the information in Section 8, and may ask questions about how our website's tracking technologies work.
- We do not require a child to provide more information than is reasonably necessary to participate in a class.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to class inquiries and schedule trial or paid classes
- Communicate about class schedules, cancellations, and studio updates
- Share relevant information (such as a student's name, age, and any health/safety notes) with our own instructors, so they can teach and supervise classes safely
- Improve our programs and class offerings internally
- Send occasional marketing or promotional messages by email, and by phone or text message only with your consent (see Section 5)
- Measure the performance of our advertising for our adult program
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only with:
- Meta Platforms, Inc. and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited ("Meta") — when you interact with our Facebook or Instagram ads or lead forms for our adult program, Meta receives information through its advertising tools, which Meta uses according to its own Data Policy, available at facebook.com/privacy/policy.
- Square — to process online payments, per Square's own privacy policy, available at squareup.com/us/en/legal/general/privacy-no-account. We do not receive or store your full card number.
- Our independent contractor instructors — solely to help them teach and supervise the classes you or your child are enrolled in.
- Service providers who help us operate our website, email and mailing list, and class scheduling, who may only use your information to provide those services to us.
- Law enforcement or regulators, when required by law.
Our website uses the Meta tracking pixel across all pages of our site. This allows Meta and Fast Kick Martial Arts to receive information about how you interact with our site, for the purpose of measuring and delivering advertising for our adult program. If you access our site from a location that requires consent for this kind of tracking, we will ask for your consent before it is active.
5. Phone and Text Message Communications
If you provide your phone number, we will only call or text you about your class inquiry or enrollment if you have checked the box confirming this at the time you submitted your information, whether through our website or a Facebook/Instagram lead form. You can reply STOP to any text message, or contact us directly, to opt out at any time, and we will honor that request promptly. Agreeing to receive calls or texts is never required to book or attend a class.
6. Email Communications
By providing your email address — through our website contact form, mailing list signup, or a Facebook/Instagram lead form — you agree to receive our newsletter and occasional marketing emails from us. Every marketing email we send includes a clear way to unsubscribe, our physical business address, and accurate sender information. We honor unsubscribe requests promptly.
7. Data Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law, after which it is deleted.
